Family Camp is designed so that parents and children can learn Mandarin in their own way while still sharing the experience together.
In the mornings, adults and children join separate classes adapted to their age and level. In the afternoons, families come back together for workshops, outings, and cultural sessions across the city.
Because everyone is learning Mandarin at the same time, the language gradually becomes part of family interaction throughout the camp.

Family Camp Programme
The Chinese Family Camp is organised as a Day Camp programme.
Both children and parents join the camp during the day for Mandarin lessons, cultural activities, sports, and city exploration. In the afternoon, they return home to their families.
This format is ideal for families living in Shanghai or Suzhou, as well as international families visiting the city.

The Family Mandarin Camp is also available with a Homestay accommodation option combined with the Day Camp programme.

If you or your child has specific learning, dietary or medical needs, please let us know during the application process. This gives us the opportunity to discuss these needs with you and work together to determine whether we can provide the appropriate level of care and support.
While we make every effort to accommodate individual needs, there may be situations where we are unable to provide the specialised support required to ensure the participant's wellbeing or the safety of the group. In such cases, we may unfortunately be unable to offer a place at the camp.
In other cases, we may be able to provide additional support. Where this is possible, additional service fees may apply.
